He's managed talent acquisition teams in high-growth SaaS companies and served Fortune 500 clients for the world’s largest recruiting corporation. From organizational health to recruitment marketing and employer branding, JD has used his expertise to change the way companies structure and view the functions of talent acquisition.

Alistair Shepherd

Founder and President of Saberr

Alistair is the Founder and President of Saberr. He is also Global Scholar and Fellow of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, a Startup Weekend Facilitator and an UP Global Research Fellow. Before founding Saberr, Alistair was an Engineering Researcher and Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Southampton and a guest lecturer at the Universities of Bristol, Exeter and Southampton.

Natalia Baryshnikova

Director of Product Management at SmartRecruiters

Natalia runs a product team responsible for data insights, reporting and AI in SmartRecruiters. Her favorite thing about building the SmartRecruiters product - and her biggest challenge - is solving hiring for global businesses and mom-and-pop shops alike. Natalia is a co-founder of MIT Sloan ML/AI business network on the West Coast, an MIT alumni group working on solving business challenges using machine learning and AI.

Hessam Lavi

Director of Product at SmartRecruiters

Hessam Lavi is Director of Product at SmartRecruiters. He previously co-founded Jobspotting, a data-driven recommendation engine for job seekers which was acquired by SmartRecruiters in 2017. He also founded two successful job boards in Berlin and London in 2011, namely BerlinStartupJobs.com and LondonStartupJobs.co.uk. Previously, Hessam managed a team at Google’s European headquarters in Dublin for four years, working with search quality and tackling black-hat SEO. Hessam holds a MSc degree in Cognitive Science with a Computer Science emphasis from Lund University, Sweden.
