You can cancel your BambooHR account at any time. If you should decide to cancel, please understand we’re unable to offer prorated refunds. Your account will remain active until the end of the current monthly billing period and you won’t be charged further. If you've canceled during your free trial, you have not and will not be charged.

Your BambooHR service is strictly month-to-month. There is no contract, and you can cancel at any time.

Yes, BambooHR® Time Tracking is available as an add-on to your account! Employees can clock in and out or enter hours right from the Home screen in BambooHR and timesheets are always easily available for approvals or edits. Learn more here.

It generally takes between four and six weeks to fully implement BambooHR at your organization.

Most customers choose our implementation service, in which you provide the necessary data and your assigned implementation specialist helps you import it correctly, shows you how the system works, and gets you set up and running. Implementation generally takes four to six weeks, during which you can expect to have around two calls per week with your implementation specialist lasting between 30 minutes and an hour.

Organizations with fewer than 20 employees use a QuickStart process. During this process, you receive a series of videos that guide you through account setup. You also have the option to attend QuickStart office hours to get answers to your questions.

BambooHR customer data is hosted in the United States, Canada, or Ireland, depending on the location and needs of individual customers and applicable laws. All information is encrypted in transit, and sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. In addition, the data center located in Ireland meets all of the data requirements of the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

We use a Zero Trust model to keep your data locked down at every level, and we take multiple measures to ensure it stays that way. Here are just some of the measures we take to prevent data leaks and unauthorized data access:

Customizing BambooHR is easy! Tailored workflows and approvals and custom access levels, email alerts, tabs and fields, and company branding are available to customers with the Advantage package.

While BambooHR does not provide custom dev work, our open API makes it easy for you to integrate other applications into BambooHR so data can be shared across systems. The API can be used to manipulate employee data and to generate reports in several formats. You can view our API documentation here.
