The New Help Center: It’s Alive!
You can’t see us, but we’re jumping for joy. We’re finally ready to show you a project we’ve been working on for some time now, and we’re excited to see how the new Help Center impacts your BambooHR experience.
Remember our old Help Center? We won’t be offended if you don’t. It was a simple article database with a plain-Jane design, a basic search function, and a lot of content—not all of it useful. We’ve redesigned it from the ground up because you deserve a Help Center that’s both easy to use and really, truly helpful.
Not only does the new Help Center look different, it also has a new logic and new optimization to make it more intuitive, more informative, more interactive, and more relevant to your work.
We’ve added videos (and we’re adding more), as well as a new search function that brings up better, more focused results.
We’ve pulled the most frequently asked questions to the surface, and at the same time, we’ve condensed, combined, or eliminated similar articles so you’re not stuck wondering where you’ll find the answer to your questions. Inside the articles, we’ve made navigation easier, with collapsible sections to get you to your answer faster than ever.
There’s a completely new section dedicated to learning, where you’ll find hints and tips—not just about maximizing the potential of BambooHR, but maximizing your personal performance and doing better business as well.
Last, but far from least, we did all of this with your help, and a little research technique called card sorting. It sounds like something you might use to gain an edge at the blackjack table, but all it means is giving real customers like you a whole pile of article topics, questions, and help guides, and letting you organize them into different categories. That way, when you search or navigate, the results you see are tailored to the way you think as an HR professional. For example: we never thought to put Hiring with Onboarding & Offboarding, but you did. So now, you’ll find all of those articles together.
We may have mentioned this before, but we’re really happy to finally bring the Help Center up to speed with the rest of the BambooHR experience. We hope you’re excited to use it, even just a fraction as excited as we are to launch it.
